Start: Talk to brother Kojo, south of Ardougne zoo.

Needed skills: Higher than combat level 40 or good defence is recommended

Needed items:
Bucket of water or Ice gloves

1. The Blue Cog
When you have started the quest, head east until you reach Cedrik the monk. Get the bucket and fill it with water. (If you already got one, you do not need to get there.

When you have the bucket, go down the ladder and follow the path until you reach an odd-looking wall. Push it to get the blue cog.

Go up the ladder and you will appear in the south side of monastery. Enter the monastery and go to middle of monastery. You will see a staircase, go to second floor and use the blue cog on the blue spindle.

2. The Red Cog
Go downstairs to the dungeon, go trough the door. The red shows that the red cog is in south-east way.

Walk through the door and you will see three ogres and a red cog. Run and take the red cog.

Head back to the ladder, go to second floor, and use the red cog on the red spindle.

3. The Black Cog
Go downstairs again, and go to the room. Follow the way and you will see a room with spider level 2 and flames.

Use the water of bucket on the red cog and pick it up. Then, use your black cog on the first floor.

4. The White Cog
Go down again and go to the room. Now go through north – west door, the coloured bricks told you the way.

Keep walking north-west to get a rat poison. After you have picked one, go east to the rat cage.

On the rat cage, you will see levers. Pull them down and go inside the rat cage.

In the rat cage, you will see a food trough. Use the rat poison on the food trough and the rats will eat the food and die. Then the door with the white cog will open.

Pick up the white cog and go up the ladder, you will be outside of monastery. Go inside and use the white cog on the white pole, on third floor.
